Memorial Service Venue
The Robert Burns Service Chapel allows you to have complete flexibility to have the funeral service you want within a relaxed environment. The modern, elegant and calm atmosphere of the Chapel can seat 55 people in total comfort with superior audio & visual facilities.
Venue
Situated in a converted 18th Century Mill on the west bank of the river Nith with picturesque views, overlooking the heart of Dumfries Town.
Ample parking is available in the car park which is located adjacent to the Venue.
With its disabled access, the Service Chapel is fully accessible for everyone.
Officiant
The service can be officiated by ministers and officiants of all faiths or of no faith at all, everyone is welcome.
We are happy to recommend a number of officiants with whom we have long standing associations who will work with you to create a ceremony that is highly personalised and reflects the wishes of you and your loved one.
Alternatively, if you have an officiant in mind we are happy to work with them to facilitate the perfect service.
Audio – Visual
With superb audio and video facilities, we can encapsulate the life of your loved one through music,
video and still photographs on a large screen.
We can produce a memorial slide show from your chosen images with or without musical accompaniment to be seamlessly included in the service.
Our Memorial Service Package
Our Memorial Service gives you the option of having a standalone memorial service at a venue to commemorate the life of your loved one. We will make this as individual and unique as a funeral service with a dedicated funeral director putting together all the arrangements with you.
This Memorial Service Package is an option which can run alongside our Mabie Package (Direct Cremation), which gives the family the opportunity to have an unattended cremation with a separate memorial service at a different time.
